The Science and Technology Policy Research Institute (CSIR-STEPRI) in collaboration with the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and 
Biotechnology (ICGEB) is organizing an International workshop on Risk Communication on GMOs, under the auspices of Biosafety Capacity Building Project 
“assisting the development of effective safety and regulatory systems for the products of modern biotechnology in Sub-Saharan African”.

Participants will include regulatory officials, researchers and communicators with experience in the formulation of biosafety policies, GM product development and safety.

Participating countries are Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Nigeria.
